EMS At-Home Training Service Policy
1. Service Overview
Our EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) at-home training sessions are designed to provide personalized fitness experiences in the comfort of your home. Each session is conducted by certified professionals using FDA-cleared equipment.
2. Scheduling, Rescheduling and Cancellation
- Booking: Sessions must be booked at least 48 hours in advance through our online platform or customer service.
- Rescheduling: Clients may reschedule a session without penalty if done at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. Rescheduling within 24 hours may incur a fee of $50, except in cases of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.
- Cancellation or No-show: To respect our trainers' time and ensure fair scheduling for all clients, any session that is missed without notice ("no-show") or cancelled with less than 12 hours' notice will be counted as completed and deducted from your membership or package.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Right to Cancel: Clients have the right to cancel their contract within three (3) business days, excluding weekends and legal holidays, from the date of signing, by providing written notice. A full refund will be issued within 30 days of cancellation, minus the cost of any sessions already provided.
- Cancellation Due to Relocation or Business Closure: If a client relocates more than twenty-five (25) driving miles from the original training area or if 20min-Fit discontinues services, the client may request a contract cancellation. In such cases, only unused, prepaid sessions may be eligible for a partial refund. A $50 processing fee will be applied, and the total refund amount will not exceed 50% of the remaining value after deducting any promotional discounts or previously completed sessions. All refund requests must be submitted in writing with proof of relocation or closure.
- Cancellation Due to Death or Disability: In the event of a client's death or physical inability to continue the sessions, the contract may be canceled with a prorated refund issued of 25%. Proof, such as a physician's certification, may be required.
- Unused Sessions: All purchased sessions must be used within the validity period of the membership or package. Unused sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable. It is the client's responsibility to schedule and complete sessions within the allotted time. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of those sessions without refund or credit.
4. Payment Terms
- Advance Payments: Clients must pay for sessions in advance. However, please be aware that paying for more than one (1) month in advance may risk the loss of your money if the business ceases operations, as we are not required by Florida law to provide any security.
- Installment Payments: For contracts involving future services paid in installments, all terms will be clearly outlined in the contract, including total cost, payment schedule, and any applicable fees.
5. Contract Duration
The initial contract period will not exceed as follow:
- 1 session: 30 days after 7days of purchase
- 4 sessions: 8 weeks after 7days of purchase
- 8 sessions: 12 weeks after 7days of purchase
- 12 sessions: 18 weeks after 7days of purchase
- 52 sessions: 13 months after 7days of purchase
Exclusions:
- We kindly ask that sessions be used within the timeframes above to ensure consistent results.
- Extensions cannot be guaranteed for personal scheduling conflicts, travel, or other commitments. We will be happy to review options for a one-time courtesy extension.
- If a medical emergency or unexpected injury occurs, please contact us as soon as possible. We will be happy to review options for a one-time courtesy extension.
- Unused sessions after the contract period will expire and are non-refundable.
- Sessions are non-transferable and must be used by the original purchaser.
- Requests for contract holds or pauses can be considered under special circumstances with prior written agreement.
6. Guest Pass Policy – 12-Month Membership
As a valued 12-month member, you may invite up to three (3) sessions per guest per calendar month to experience a complimentary EMS session. Each guest may use this pass of 3 sessions only once during the entirety of your membership.
Restrictions apply as follows:
- Guests must be 16 years or older.
- Passes are valid for same location of primer member, and same appointment.
- All guests must sign a waiver before participating.
- Sessions must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
- Guest passes are non-transferable, not cumulative, and cannot be exchanged for credits, extensions, or discounts.
7. Client Identification
Clients may be required to furnish identification upon the trainer's arrival as a condition of receiving services. We will provide the means of such identification if necessary.
8. Media Release Consent
By engaging in our service, clients hereby grant 20min-Fit the absolute right and permission to use photographs and/or video recordings taken of them during their EMS session for marketing and promotional purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, use on social media platforms, the company website, and other promotional channels.
They understand that these materials will be used solely to promote 20min-Fit and that no personal information (such as my name or contact details) will be disclosed without their explicit consent.
9. Compliance and Registration
Our business is registered with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services as required by the Florida Health Studio Act. Our registration number is [Insert Registration Number].
